Unwinding and using existing natural resources

Space and privacy: Our small campsite with 30 pitches spread over 4.5 hectares is very pleasant for people looking for peace and quiet, but also suitable for families with children. Parents can let their children play freely on the campsite.  Guest looking for tranquility are visiting us in spring and autumn, in summer we have mainly families with kids. Even in summer it doesn't get too crowded due to the spaciousness of the site.

Camping like in the old days:

The campsite is simple, functional and equipped in harmony with nature. There is storytelling and music around the campfire, we have interesting conversations at the central dishwashing area and whoever has forgotten the toilet paper, asks the neighbour for some. 

 

Volunteers:

Guests on a low budget are very welcome. Just ask us if we could use a helping hand during your stay.


Attractions 

We do not offer a pre-planned animation program . Common activities usually arise spontaneously. Feel free to come up with your ideas or announce a common game on the whiteboard in our café under the hangar.

We invite the children to help feeding and taking care of the animals. In spring you can help with sowing and planting the vegetables and with the procuction of hay. At the end of the summer we can use helping hands with the harvest and production of apple juice and jam.

We have various projects running, such as the expansion of the children playground or dog playground. Young and old are welcome to join. 

Freedom

The campsite with 30 pitches is set in 4.5 hectares of open meadows, ancient oaks, woods, a natural lake and a stream. Guests can enjoy the silence and spend a pleasant evening in the café or at the campfire.



Café 

In our cozy café we offer organic and sustainable ingredients. We serve drinks and in the evening also snacks.  On Friday evenings there are home-made pizzas from the wood-fired oven and guests can help with the preparation.






Natural lake

The idyllic natural swimming lake in the middle of the forest is part of the campsite. It also contains water in hot summers, because it is fed from groundwater. Thanks to the many oak trees, there are no toxic blue-green algae in the lake.


Farm

The campsite is part of a farm. We have fruit trees, vegetables, meadows, forests, crops and animals. The children are welcome to help with the daily work.






Play area

There are several playgrounds on the campsite and a shed with children's toys. The children can pick up and return the toys themselves.





Animals 

At the moment we have horses, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. New animals are constantly being added. We offer a home in particular to animals from animal shelters. All animals have names and we attach great importance to a specific care and food for each animal.
